There are two ways you can register and purchase tickets. You can either buy online here or download a registration and payment form here.


Three price levels of tickets are available for purchase:

Before 8th September 2019

  • Conference registration (current financial members of BirdLife Photography*): $250

  • Conference registration plus 12 months membership of BirdLife Photography: $265

  • Conference registration (non-members of BirdLife Photography): $295

After 8th September 2019

  • Late registration for all delegates (after 8th September 2019): $295


  • Pelagic Expedition (limit of 20 persons): $185

  • Conference Dinner: $55

*Membership of Birdlife Photography is an additional subscription to BirdLife Australia membership


A ticket provides entry to the conference on both the 21st and 22nd September 2019; includes morning and afternoon teas and lunch on both days.

The conference dinner (Saturday 21st @ 7pm Esplanade Hotel) is an additional $55 per person and available for both registered delegates and partners.  

Delegates are required to present their tickets for entry to both events.

The Pelagic Expedition is limited to 20 persons and limited to the first 20 delegates who register for this event.

Under exceptional circumstances registrations at the commencement of the conference – 21st September will be at the discretion of the organising committee and will only be accepted as $295 cash payment. Please contact Graham Cam prior to the 21st September if you are considering attending and have not registered before the cut-off date.


Conference delegates are offered reduced rates when booking accommodation at the Esplanade Hotel.


A full refund (less 10% administration fee) will be returned for cancellations more than 8 days before the start of the event. There will be no refund for cancellations received less than and including 7 days prior to the start of the event.
